Archbishop Haverland visits Holy Paraclete Parish
On the 8th February His Grace, Archbishop Mark Haverland together with Father Jonathan Foggin visited the Parish of the Holy Paraclete with St Mary & St Martha. The Feast of St John of Matha was celebrated. Shortly before the service was due to commence there was yet another power outage, resulting in no accompanying music, however the hymns were well known.
The clergy present were: Archbishop Mark Haverland, Father Jonathan Foggin of the USA, Bishop Alan Kenyon-Hoare, Father Magcinandile Manene (Bishop Alan's chaplain), Father Darell Denere, Father Mathewos Ugebo of His Father's House, Wellington. From St Bernard Mizeke Parish in Langa were Canon Michael Williams, Father Victor Masepe, Father Dominic Raphahlelo, Father Sazi Mgobeni, Deacon Khaya Makuleni. Father Stanley Hatili of St Charles Lwanga Mission.

Archbishop's Chaplain & the Litanist: Father Jonathan Foggin
The Epistle was read by Father Victor Masepe and the Gospel by Deacon Khaya Makuleni.
The Servers: Noel Feltham, Eric Woudberg, Robert van Wyk and Michael Botha, the Thurifer was Luthando Mayekiso and Shawn Matunzi the Boatboy.
His Grace ordained Darell David Denere to the priesthood.  Father Darell is licenced to St John Vianney Mission in Blue Downs, Cape Town.
There were 77 persons present.
The power came on again just as the clergy and servers were processing out, thus enabling the ladies to make tea, coffee and serve refreshments.  It was an opportunity for people to meet the Archbishop and Father Foggin.  Father Foggin was a great hit with the teenagers.
